PosiChat is a free AI companion designed for one thing: helping you notice the good in your day.

How it works

Each session is a short, 3-minute conversation with Posi — a warm AI trained in positive psychology techniques. Posi asks you about your day, helps you spot things you might overlook, and gently guides you toward gratitude and strength recognition.

What PosiChat is not

  • Not a therapist. PosiChat doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or replace professional mental health care.
  • Not toxic positivity. If you're having a hard day, Posi validates your feelings first — no "just think positive!" nonsense.
  • Not a data collector. No account, no personal data stored on servers. Conversations don't leave your browser session.

The science behind it

PosiChat draws from evidence-based positive psychology practices:

  • Gratitude journaling — noticing 3 good things daily improves wellbeing over 6 months (Seligman et al., 2005)
  • Strength spotting — recognizing your character strengths boosts confidence and resilience (Peterson & Seligman, 2004)
  • Cognitive reframing — gently shifting perspective on challenges without dismissing them (Beck, 1979)
